Sports

Las Vegas hosts a wide variety of sporting events and professional teams. Featuring the now Infamous Vegas Golden Knights NHL team which made it to the Stanley Cup Finals during their inaugural season. T-Mobile Arena is the home of the Golden Knights and also hosts boxing matches and concerts by various different groups and artists. Another new addition to The Strip are the Las Vegas Ace’s, Las Vegas’ own WNBA team competing at Mandalay Bay Events Center. The city also welcomed the first United Soccer League’s Las Vegas Lights to Cashman Field in Downtown Las Vegas. You can catch some summer fun seeing the Las Vegas Aviators, a Minor League Baseball franchise of the Oakland A’s playing in Downtown Summerlin at the Las Vegas Ballpark. On top of everything else Las Vegas welcomed the addition of the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders to its collection of sports team in 2020 at Allegiant Stadium, home to the UNLV Rebels Football and many other sporting and special events.

 

Production Shows

Las Vegas is a home to entertainment featuring over a hundred shows. There is something for everyone to want to watch whether it be a Cirque du Soleil show like O or a comedy show like Penn & Teller at the Rio. Las Vegas is home to many Cirque Du Soleil shows including Mystere, Beatles LOVE, and more. There are many other unique acrobatic and aquatic shows in Las Vegas including WOW at the Rio, Le Reve at Wynn, Blue Man Group at Luxor, Human Nature sings Motown at The Venetian. Las Vegas also features comedy, magician, hypnosis, and tribute shows including Terry Factor, Mat Franco, MJ Live, Legends in Concert and many other shows. The possibilities of what a show may contain are endless; from nearly impossible acrobatic stunts to a simple joke Vegas has it all.

 

Performing Arts

The Las Vegas Smith Center is notorious for having some of the best Broadway shows. To lesser known extent the Smith Center is home to Myron’s Cabaret Jazz which is an elegant yet easygoing club where you can be entertained by some of the finest musicians across the country. The Smith Center has showcased many different traveling Broadway shows including Wicked, The Book of Mormon and Hamilton among many others. What makes the Smith Center so special is that the Broadway shows are constantly changing so almost every time you visit the Smith Center will be a brand-new experience creating new memories. The best part is you get to enjoy a Broadway show without the need to travel to New York and in the comfort of everything Las Vegas has to offer.

Las Vegas also features a variety of celebrities, which are constantly performing across the city in multiple resort venues. Every musical genre is represented at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood, Park Theater at Park MGM.
